Recently, this well-known Chinese proverb has often come to mind: “A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step.” While brainstorming a way to restart my blog after an unexpected hiatus of 2 years, I realized that I needed to stop overthinking it and just start writing again — without the self-imposed expectations that usually hinder my progress.

To counter the mental block that typically dissuades me from writing, I’ve decided to treat this space as my “Creator’s Journal”. By taking this single small step, I hope to reignite my passion for writing (not to mention justify the exorbitant price I pay to keep this website running each year)!

Speaking of passions, I recently finished a major passion project of mine: a Creator E-Book focused on “Navigating & Negotiating Paid Brand Partnerships.” Although it took me 1.5 years to complete this digital product, I’m very proud of the fact that it’s finally done and launched. It still feels surreal to have made several sales already and have Creators reading it!
